CASA KANE COUNTY

CASA Kane County is a nonprofit, volunteer organization that advocates for the best interests of abused and neglected children within the Juvenile and Probate Court systems. Its existence is based on the belief that every child has the right to a safe and permanent home allowing them the chance to reach their full potential in life.

CASA Kane County has been serving abused and neglected children since 1988. Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA) volunteers are assigned as the Guardian ad Litem (GAL) to all child abuse and neglect cases in Juvenile Court as well as all private guardianship cases involving minors in Probate Court. CASA volunteers provide consistency to the children on their case, submit reports to the judge prior to all court hearings, and make certain that the child's best interests are represented. These volunteers are Everyday Heroes, people just like you who have chosen to speak up for a child.

Help us make the difference in the life of a child.
