"If I can stop one heart from breaking, I shall not live in vain.
If I can ease one life the aching, or cool one pain,
or help one fainting robin unto his nest again,
I shall not live in vain."

Planned Giving - A Legacy for a Child

At CASA Kane County we realize that true philanthropy is the act of expressing love for others, and so these major gifts are much more than money contributed to meet the needs of the children we serve – they are a reflection of your own hopes and dreams for our community.

The concept for planned giving is not a new one.  If leaving a legacy to CASA Kane County is an interest to you, we recommend that you make an appointment to talk to your financial advisor.  You may want to restrict your gift for a specific purpose, or allow us to use your gift towards our annual fund.   We would be happy to help you reach this very important decision.

Planned giving creates opportunities for both CASA Kane County and for our donors.  Determining what gift is right for you is just as important as making the gift.  There are a host of easy giving options from which to choose – from naming CASA Kane County as a beneficiary in your will to more complex trust arrangements.

You - like many of our donors are dedicated to the mission of this organization that advocates for the best interests of abused and neglected children within the Juvenile Court system. Your trust in our ability to find a safe and nurturing home, away from the inconsistencies that these children have faced all their lives, will continue giving them hope for a brighter future.

We want to hear from you.  If you’d like to share your insights on planned giving strategies, or want to learn more about the ways in which your gift will help us sustain the longevity of this organization, please call the CASA office at 630-232-4484.
