Hosted virtually*

Join our one-hour virtual training with the Legal and Advocacy Team for an overview of the Kinship in Demand (KIND) Act. The KIND Act is legislation designed to strengthen and prioritize kinship care by supporting placements with relatives or close family connections when children cannot remain safely at home, with the goal of promoting stability, continuity, and family connection.

This session will explore why the Act was implemented, what it means for the children and families we serve, and how it supports kinship-focused outcomes. Volunteers will also learn how to apply this information in their advocacy work, strengthening their ability to support safe, stable, and meaningful family connections.
