This foundational training will help CASA volunteers better understand the special education process and confidently advocate for children with educational needs. Participants will learn how to read and understand an IEP, identify members of the IEP team, recognize important next steps, and explore ways to seek additional supports when a child’s educational needs are not being fully met.
