Why Volunteer with CASA Kane County?

  • Record-Breaking Impact: In 2022, CASA Kane County served 613 children, a number already surpassed in 2023. Experience the direct and meaningful impact you can have on a child’s life.
  • Unprecedented Need: Witness an 85% increase in cases over the past 3 years. Your involvement can help address the growing need for compassionate advocates.
  • Volunteer with a Friend: Share the journey! Recruit your partner, spouse, friend, sister, or anyone close to you to be a volunteer. Working on a case together provides built-in support, shared responsibilities, and a meaningful bond.
  • Time Commitment: It takes only as long to volunteer each month as watching two or three Netflix movies. On average, volunteers spend about 1 – 1.5 hours a week on their cases, depending on the complexity.

Advocating for the Voice of Children in Foster Care

CASA Kane County serves as a Guardian ad Litem, a nonprofit volunteer organization advocating for the best interests of children in abuse and neglect cases within the Juvenile Court system. As a CASA volunteer, you play a vital role in giving a voice to those who need it most.
