Subscription Philanthropy — The New Way to Give

Ways To Give: Subscription Philanthropy Blog | CASA Kane County is stepping right in line with subscription philanthropy by offering a new online giving platform called Harness Giving, who has witnessed that “overall, monthly donors give 42% more annually than traditional one-time donors.” (Harness Giving) By implementing this program, we hope to gain and welcome more G.E.M. (Give Every Month) donors!

Nurturing and Supporting Healthy Children in the Face of Adversity

Volunteers (CASA/GAL’s) with CASA Kane County (Court Appointed Special Advocates/Guardian Ad Litem) are assigned to children who need a guardian to advocate on their behalf for the court in cases of abuse and neglect.

CASA’s represent the children in court, school, health checkups and other areas where children would need adult support. They are the eyes and ears of the court on behalf of a child. These volunteers are unbiased and truly have the child’s best interests in mind.
